Pre-Rendezvous Info

  • Decorating your boat
  • Taking part in our themed days:
  • Friday: Undercover Friday (wear your event t-shirt)
  • Saturday: Suspect Saturday (wear anything that matches the suspects’ colours)
  • Sunday: The Big Reveal (dress as your favourite suspect or who you think “did it”.
  • If your pet is attending the Rendezvous, be sure to include a Clue themed outfit for our Pet Parade

Please see the Rendezvous Registration page for details, dates and refund policy. Registration opens in late May.

  • Full refunds (minus 10%) are available for cancellations until August 4.
  • Between August 5 and August 19 cancellations receive partial refunds:
  • Rendezvous registration: TBD
  • There are no refunds for optional add-ons during this period
  • There are no refunds after August 19.
  • The Rendezvous registration fee does not include moorage.
  • Reserve your moorage directly with Telegraph Harbour via their online booking form.
  • Be sure to select “38th Canadian Tollycruisers Rendezvous” to be part of our group booking.
  • Our group booking expires on August 19, so please book your moorage prior to that date.
  • Upon entering Telegraph Harbour contact them on Channel 66A.
  • Greeters: New for 2026 – Greet arriving boats with their goodie bags and a big welcome. Having a handheld VHF radio is strongly encouraged.
  • Morning Coffee: Greet guests, make coffee, transfer coffee to urns, tidy food area as necessary. Clean up at the end of service.
  • Burger Dinner: Assist with meal prep, organize service area, initial cooking and serving | Final cooking, serving and clean-up of cooking and serving area.
  • Pancake Breakfast: Assist with meal prep, organize service area, initial cooking and serving | Final cooking, serving and clean-up of cooking and serving area.
  • 50/50 and Raffle Ticket Sales: Sell tickets to all participants, ensure all tickets are torn apart. For raffle, assist participants with how to “bid” on items.
  • Photography: Take lots of photos!! Upload to our photo library (TBD)
  • Potluck Dinner: Set-up tables for serving, keep food service moving, ensure tables are clean following the potluck.
  • “Ruby-Marge”arita Dock Tales: Prep and serve margaritas, clean-up service area.
  • Activities, games & events: Assist with bingo, Toonie Slap Shot, pet parade, judging the cook-off or marine swap meet.

What to Bring: Marine related items needing a new home

Do you have boating items taking up valuable space on your Tolly or your garage? Then bring them to sell at our Marine Swap Meet.

All items must be clearly labeled with you and your Tolly’s names. Please remove any unsold items promptly at the end of the Swap Meet (if we return them, we might include more than you brought).

Join other Tollycruisers for our annual Business Meeting. Share your ideas for future club events and be part of all the Tollycruisers fun.

Curious what other Tollycraft owners have done on their Tollys? Then hit the docks and check them out during the weekend.

Display the flag included in your goodie bag when you’re available to welcome guests. And tuck it away for private time.

Provided: Voluntary and free safety check by RCMSAR Station 29 members

Increase your peace of mind that your Tollycraft meets the minimum safety equipment requirements with a free RCMSAR safety check.

What to Bring: Glasses for your margaritas, chairs (if you’re not a fan of picnic tables)

Margaritas on the dock are a long-standing Tollycruisers tradition. Started by, and staffed by Ruby Olsen and Marge Felton (Rhubarb II,) it’s always been a great way to kick off Rendezvous weekend.

Donations of tequila and/or mix are appreciated.

Enjoy freshly grilled burgers prepared by our volunteers

Fun and Games

Date & Time: Poker hands can be purchased beginning on Friday, September 4 from Terry & Bob Janes (Sweet Baby Janes). Completed packages must be returned by Sunday, September 7 at 12 p.m.

Provided: Poker run info ($5/hand)

What to Bring: Mosquito repellant for the walk/bike around Thetis Island

Cost: $5/hand

Take a leisurely walk (bike ride, scooter ride, etc) around Thetis Island to complete your hand(s) for the Bud Cooper Memorial Poker Run. The three Tollycruisers with the best poker hands take home a share of the pot!

What to bring: Your memory

Tollytration is BACK!! Based on the classic concentration card game, you’ll flip Tolly cards to find matches. The team with the most matches when all the cards are revealed, wins a prize!

Date & Time: Friday, September 4 @ 7:30 p.m.

Location: Pavilion

Provided: Bingo cards, daubers (if you don’t have a favourite one)

What to Bring: Cash; your good-luck troll; a drink; favourite dauber; mosquito repellant

Cost: $5 for one card or $20 for 5

A crowd favourite, join other bingo lovers to see if you will be the first to yell Bingo (and make enemies of everyone needing just one more square).

All proceeds go to the winner(s).

Provided: Package of ramen; judging dishes & utensils; competitor number; prizes

What to Bring: Your elevetated ramen side dish in the provided judging cups; remainder in a serving dish for participants to enjoy alongside their burger.

Take our key ingredient (ramen) and elevate it into a yummy side dish to accompany burgers. Judges will select the winner.

Details

Three judges will taste the Cook-Off using the following criteria:

  • 10 points: Taste
  • 6 points: Use of ramen in the dish
  • 4 points: Creativity and theme

Use the three containers in your goodie bag to prepare samples for judging. These have been labeled with your contestant number. On Saturday, take your samples for judging to the pavilion between 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Please do not include your name or boat name – it’s blind judging.

Bring the rest of your side dish to the BBQ area in a serving container for lunch.

Your dish must contain the key ingredient and all other ingredients are up to you. Dish may be served hot or cold.

Location: Docks – have your dinghy ready to go by 1 p.m.

What to Bring: Your dinghy; PFDs

Join us for a for some dingy fun provided by David & Yvonne Landry (Works For Me). Who will navigate the course fastest??

Now this one may get you singing! Grab your favourite docktail, and join us for our annual Name That Tune!

What to Bring: Cash ($5/team); a drink; mosquito repellent; cards; crib board (if your Tolly has one)

Join us for our annual cribbage tournament. Only $5/person to enter with the proceeds going to the top 2 teams.

We will supply 10 cribbage boards but if you have one on your Tolly, please feel free to bring it.

Date & Time: Sunday, September 6 @ 11 a.m.

Location: On the path (aka the cat walk) (Pavilion if it’s raining)

Provided: Judges and prizes

What to Bring: Completed pet parade bio; your pet; comfy chair (optional)

All pets (with their humans) are welcome to take part in our annual Pet Parade. Tollycruisers celebrities judge the pets based on the following criteria:

  • Theme: How well the Rendezvous theme is portrayed by the pet.
  • Personality: How well is the pet’s personality reflected?
  • Strut: Do the pet and human “own” the red carpet?
  • Creativity: Incorporation of creativity into the overall presentation.
  • The pets with the three highest overall scores receive prizes.

Prior to the pet parade, complete the pet information form (included in your goodie bag) to hand to the MC during the Pet Parade.

Fundraising

Dates & Times:

  • Tickets sold during Dock Tales on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Drawings following dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Location: Volunteers in red aprons

Provided: 50/50 tickets; a chance to win the $$

What to Bring: Cash

Ticket Prices: 5 for $5 or 25 for $20

50/50 tickets will be sold throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Look for the volunteers in the red aprons walking up and down the dock (there’s also a good chance they’ll find you).

With three drawings – Friday, Saturday and Sunday – triple the chances to win!

The winner receives 50% of the sales for that day.

  • Saturday, September 5 @ 12:45 p.m. (bring items you are donating to the pavilion)
  • Purchase your raffle tickets and “bid” on your favourite item(s) between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Purchase tickets for a chance to win your favourite item(s). You can leave as many tickets as you’d like in the box in front of your favourite item(s).

There’s no limit to how many tickets you can place in any given box nor how many items you can bid on.

If you have items to donate, please bring them to the pavilion at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, Septebmer 5. We will provide you with a ticket box to describe your item.

Winners announced on Saturday following dinner.

NOTE: Donations are appreciated for the Silent Auction Raffle. Please contact Sandra Lewis if you have items for the silent auction raffle.

Bring your toonies (or buy some from us) to see if you can be the closest to the bottle and take home the tequila.
